This is an analytical writing assignment on the topic of "Urban Social Issues and Possible Solutions". In this paper, you will: • Choose an urban social issue that you are interested in – e.g. homelessness, immigration, urban racial violence, gentrification, traffic and pollution, gang activity and violence, prostitution, urban health issues, etc. • Conduct research on the urban social issue of your choice. Read at least two different sources preferably with opposing views on the topic (e.g. your local newspaper, Wall Street Journal, Fox News, NPR, Washington Post, LA Times, CNN, NBC News, etc.) • As you read at least two different news sources, Describe - how are they reporting about your chosen topic?
